  • Customer Support and Billing representative (German)

    Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • The Customer Support and Billing Representative (CSR) is the first line of defense in ensuring the satisfaction of the user base. The position is composed of handling general game inquiries, technical support, and billing issue as well as monitoring and reviewing our anti-fraud tools. The CSR assumes the role of problem solver when handling customer emails, and the role of sentry when reviewing and handling payment fraud incidents. This is an entry level position that reports directly to the Billing / CS Lead.

    • Respond to and resolve first and second level Customer Support requests

    • Use, expand and improve our library of default processes and responses

    • Research reported issues to provide resolutions to non-standard support issues

    • Collect, document and report game issue reports and feedback received via support requests

    • Monitor the anti-fraud system tool for our payment processors and review fraud reports

    • Constantly work towards improving the quality of the provided service in cooperation with the Billing / CS Lead

    Requirements:

    • Fully fluent (written and spoken) in English and German. Additional language skills are a plus

    • Strong experience with video games and online games in particular is a must

  • Customer Relations Management Specialist (Social Media)

    Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • The Customer Relations Specialist for Perfect World Europe B.V. is an integral part of the company’s marketing team and is responsible for planning, coordinating and sending of email messages to Perfect World’s ever growing database of passionate gamers.

    • PLANNING: Plan effective and smart email campaign activities across our range of games and languages.

    • CAMPAIGN OPTIMIZATION: Continuously keep a keen eye on the results of previous campaigns to optimize the efficiency of upcoming campaigns and ensure profitability of those.

    • REPORTING: Provide full transparency into campaigns on a constant and pro-active basis.

    • COPYWRITING: Write engaging copy and subject lines leveraging the expert knowledge of our products that your colleagues will provide.

    Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • The Business Development Specialist reports directly to the Business Development Manager

    • The Business Development Specialist will contribute to develop Perfect World partners’ relationships and cooperation opportunities in Europe.

    • The Business Development Specialist will also support the Business Development Manager to optimize Perfect World payment and billing strategy in Europe

    • ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

    • Be the operational contact for a number of B2B partners: hardware manufacturers, TV stations, websites portals, media agencies

    • Develop partnerships and cross promotions with these partners.

    • Coordinate and communicate the cross promotions with all Perfect World internal departments.

    • PAYMENTS AND BILLING

    • Create, analyze and evaluate new payment partner opportunities.

    • Evaluate new payment products and promotions.

    Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • The User Acquisition Specialist for Perfect World Europe B.V. is an integral part of the company’s marketing team and responsible for performance marketing campaigns across a wide range of products and countries with the ultimate goal of running highly profitable marketing campaigns.

    • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • MEDIA PLANNING: Plan and execute user acquisition activities across our range of games and languages.

    • CAMPAIGN OPTIMIZATION: Continuously keep a keen eye on running and upcoming campaigns to optimize their efficiency and maximize their RoI.

    • DATA MANAGEMENT: Gather data from different internal and external sources and present it in a consistent and transparent way to enable data driven decision making. Interface with various departments within the company to improve data quality and comparability.

    • REPORTING: Provide full transparency into campaigns on a constant and pro-active basis.

  • Product Management Associate

    Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • The Product Management Associate supports Product and Monetization Managers in their daily work by providing concepts, analysis and general input based on extensive knowledge of our games. The Product Management Associate will contribute heavily to the success of the Product Management Team’s execution of in-game and monetization activities in all our games. This is an entry position and this role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Operations.

    • Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • Extensively play our games to develop a deep understanding and knowledge of the core gameplay and monetization loops

    • Using this game knowledge, you will work closely with the Product and Monetization Manager in order to

    • - identify, develop, document and communicate opportunities in our games to improve the core KPIs for retention and monetization

    • - prepare and analyze game data and provide interpretation thereof in concise reports

The Community Manager position provides two way feedback between the business and players, applying their detailed and specific game knowledge to acquire and retain players as well as promote the game both online and offline via forums, social networks, conferences and interviews. The Community Manager is a team player with excellent communication skills. He/she will report to the Community Management.Lead. This fulltime position is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

    • Be the 'go to' person for all game and game community information within the business

    • Provide detailed, specific information back into marketing and the business on community trends, reactions and expectations

    • Provide periodical reports on community reach, reaction and needs

    • Visit, manage and partake in forum discussions, both on our own forums as well as others.

    Responsibilities & Job Duties:

    • THIS ROLE

    • - is full time, based in the Perfect World Europe (PWE) B.V. offices in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and directly reports to the Engineering Manager

    • - is working with an internal Frontend Developer as well as our US colleagues

    • THE BACKEND PHP DEVELOPER WILL…

    • - develop, troubleshoot, test and maintain websites, applications and databases to ensure expected functionality, performance and availability

    • - expand our PWE websites by implementing new payment gateways and maintaining the currently implemented ones with bugfixes and updates

    • - work with our US development team to ensure that any requirements developed in the US are applied to European sites and are adapted for our specific requirements

    • - work with our internal NetOps team to monitor our web application performance (such as loading and response times) and find ways to improve it

    • - coordinate with our US colleagues to exchange experience, knowledge, status and generally stay informed on tasks currently in development in both offices
